Max Dudler have revitalised the 1960s Romeo & Julia building in the financial district of Frankfurt West. The building consists of two office towers joined together by a plinth, originally designed by Richard Heil. Starting the project in 2005, Max Dudler Architects’ role was to reconfigure the existing facades which had become energetically outdated. Whilst maintaining the core support structure, these facades were stripped down to the building shell and replaced with an innovative and homogenising facade.
Max Dudler have also built another office building called Westend First in the same street (Ulmen Street).
