Tinhouse on the Isle of Skye, by Rugged Design, evokes agricultural structures, Hadlow Down House by BBM Sustainable Structures subverts an energy-hungry brief into a low-energy development and James Gorst Architects‘ contemporary country house in┬áthe Midlands is clad in ironstone and bronze to evoke the earthy tones of the surrounding countryside. An urban infill house in London by 31/44 Architects is organised around three courtyards, McGarry Moon has transformed a dilapidated London cottage and Studio 304‘s Sunken Bath project reworks a gloomy London flat. Plus houses in progress by John Pardey Architects and Hudson Architects.
