EcoTech is the UK's only professional architectural magazine devoted to sustainable design an essential aspect of the work of today's architect.
Each issue of EcoTech covers the latest developments in eco-friendly construction globally as well as as in the UK and Europe and provides a gateway to further sources of information for practising architects.
Articles address the issues of most pressing concern to practising architects from photovoltaics to breathing walls and from water-saving devices to urban design. And project studies document the most important recent buildings from the House for the Future in Cardiff by Jestico & Whiles to the Arizona courthouse by Richard Meier.
Also included in each issue is news from the UK and around the world; the latest websites; reviews of recent books; and a guide to a major information source such as the Centre for Alternative Technology or the Building Research Establishment.
Contributors include leading figures in sustainable architecture and design such as Rab Bennetts, Bill Bordass, Jon Broome, Peter Clegg, Brian Ford, Oswald W Grube, Thomas Herzog, Sunand Prasad, Tanya Ross, Paul Ruyssevelt, Andrew Scott, Brenda and Robert Vale, and Tom Woolley.

Readers play an active part in guiding the future contents of the magazine, using the unique faxback to suggest topics such as improving the energy performance of inner-city housing that are then covered in subsequent issues.
In a survey conducted after the launch of EcoTech (2000), 90% of readers said that sustainability was significant to them in their work.
EcoTech is published twice a year and mailed free with Architecture Today to full-time practising architects in the UK. For information on reader registration, click here
