While the brand is already well known for its innovative bathroom and shower solutions, the manufacturer can provide more than just product and project requirements for spa, leisure and wellness facilities. Whatever the project, wedi supports planners, investors and installers on every phase, from planning and manufacturing, through logistics and delivery, to construction and on site commissioning.
Each product is checked thoroughly during production and quality control. Every detail can be designed exactly to the client’s requirements. For example, milled recesses for cables can be incorporated into individual modules, and lighting or sound technology can be integrated during the manufacturing process. wedi provides a wide range of coatings for its wellness and spa elements that are ideal for tiles or decorative plaster both inside and outside of steam cabins. For roofs, steam-resistant epoxy resin decorative coatings are available in a wide variety of surface and colour options all of which can be applied in the factory. All tailor-made systems are built and tested in the wedi factory before dispatch, to ensure that everything fits and functions precisely on site.
One of wedi’s most recent wellness projects is a bespoke changing area and steam room installation at Broughton Hall Estate in Yorkshire by bespoke thermal experience designer and manufacturer Milk Leisure. The versatility of individually formed wedi segments facilitated last minute changes on site.
As a wedi Approved Partner for nearly a decade, Milk is an advocate of the wedi brand, regularly using it for hotel, spa and leisure projects. Together with Viva Tiling, who also joined the long list of wedi Approved Partners a few years ago, they have created a truly unique thermal experience furthering the project to the shortlist of the International Hotel & Property Awards 2019 in Spa/Spa Hotel category.
