These terms and conditions apply to Your use of the Architecture Today website and by accessing this website, and/or by completing a registration procedure to provide Us with Your User Information, You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. In these Conditions:
References to any statute or statutory provision shall, unless the context otherwise requires be construed as a reference to that statute or statutory provision as from time to time amended, consolidated, modified, extended, re-enacted or replaced;
References to the masculine include the feminine and the neuter and the singular include the plural and vice versa as the context admits or requires;
Words importing persons include individuals, bodies corporate and unincorporate; and
Headings will not affect their construction.
You do not have to provide us with any personal information in order to use our website, however if you register to receive emails, to attend our events or subscribe we may collect your name, address, phone number, email address, employer and employment details.
We respect Your User Information and undertake to comply with applicable Data Protection legislation from time to time in place.
We confirm that any User Information which You provide to Us (or which are available on public registers) from which We can identify You are held in accordance with Our Data Protection registration notification. When You register with Us We consider Your User Information that You provide as private. We use Your User Information for the following purposes:

We will provide You with free access to the Website. The Website is a business and commercial site. As such, it is not intended for children or minors. We do not specifically collect information about or from children. We believe that children should get their parents’ consent before giving out personal information. If you are concerned about your child’s use of the Website we encourage you to use Web filtering technology to supervise your child’s access to the Website.
This Website also acts as a venue for employers to post job opportunities for candidates and for candidates to post their CV’s and subject to these Conditions does not screen or censor the listings offered. We are not responsible for any error, omission or inaccuracy in any materials, products or Services posted on this Website and do not get involved in the actual transaction between employers and candidates or between any Users. As a result, We have no control over the quality or legality of the jobs posted, materials, services or products offered and the truth or accuracy of the listings. You acknowledge therefore that any reliance on material posted by other Users on this Website will be at Your own risk and You assume all risks associated in dealing with other such Users.
2 User’s Obligations
2.1 The Users:

9.2 As proof of sending does not guarantee Our receipt of Your notice, You must ensure that You have requested and received an acknowledgement from Us which, should it be required, will be sent within 3 working days of Our receipt and should be retained by You.
If any part of the Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from these Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the Conditions.
No waiver by Us shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.
Each provision of these Conditions shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances.

14 Third Party Liability
Nothing in this Agreement confers on any third party any benefits under the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
