Some 4500m² Junckers solid oak flooring has been installed at The Curtain hotel in Shoreditch, east London, designed by Dexter Moren Associates. Specified in a custom dark grey stain, and featuring a rich, textured surface that highlights the wood grain, the flooring is used in all the bedrooms and suites. Its natural acoustic qualities ensure a comfortable indoor climate for guests.
The flooring is sealed with Ultramatt lacquer (ph: Adrian Houston)
The floor comes pre-finished and sealed with Ultramatt lacquer. This has an oiled appearance, minimising on-site work and ensuring a perfect finish. The flooring contractor was PICA Floorings.
