An AT survey explores the impact of the coronavirus epidemic on the profession to date, and on future prospects

On Thursday 14 and Friday 16 May, Architecture Today conducted a readership survey to develop understanding of how the profession has been impacted by the coronavirus crisis, and how respondents viewed future prospects as the UK moves into the next phase of its efforts to combat the epidemic.

As the paths followed by devolved governments within the UK now diverge, the survey was targeted at architects in England. It covers the impact on practices to date and measures taken to mitigate that; architects’ views on how their practices will be affected in the coming weeks; and architects’ views on whether the crisis will have a lasting impact on approaches to design.
